2nd Annual Castaway Winter Beach Bash Information

It’s hard to believe but summer is coming to an end. Labor Day is just a couple weeks away, school has started for many and before you know it cooler temperatures will invade bringing the feel good summer time vibe to a close. For us in South Florida that means the return of the dreaded snow bird, not really our favorite time of the year either. I do have something that will warm you up this coming winter though…can you say Caribbean escape? The 2nd annual Castaway Winter Beach Bash at Bolongo Bay Resort on St. Thomas is happening! And you’re invited!

This January 10th-13th, Castaways (you!) will flood to the Caribbean island of St. Thomas to thaw out from the frozen North. The rum will flow, new friends will be made and I guarantee that you won’t want to leave. Book your Winter Beach Bash here.

What Will We Be Doing?

• Beach Time
• Sunset cocktail cruise
• Beach Time
• Exclusive snorkel booze hunt
• Beach Time
• Live nightly music at Iggie’s Beach Bar

A St. John day trip will be offered on Saturday. With the discount, it would be $88 per person for St. John sail.

Bolongo Bay can also could arrange some other activities for the groups based on how many people are coming in such as kayak races, beach volleyball tournament and/or karaoke. The karaoke happened last year after we closed down Iggies Beach Bar, no microphone needed, just a bottle of Cruzan.

For the Castaways, Bolongo is offering (on direct bookings):

• 15% off room-only rates (20% off room-only rates if they book early by Sept. 15)
• Welcome bottle of rum
• $25 in Iggies bucks per room
• Sunset sail ($110 value for two)

I know many people ended up booking via Expedia last year. If you do that, then let Bolongo Bay know in advance that you’re with the Castaways so you’ll get your welcome bag and discounts on all of the sail trips (the sunset trip and Iggies bucks isn’t included if booked on Expedia).
