I’m bald. News flash right, but sometimes I wish I had long dreads that would fly through the air every time I danced to my favorite songs. In theory it sounds awesome, but I don’t think I could pull that one off. I’ll stick with the classic bald man look.

This week’s featured song is from reggae artist Jimmy Cliff, and it’s titled Talenhouse. Jimmy Cliff is a Jamaican reggae artist with a huge catalog of great music and was one of five performers inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

I learned about this new song and video from the Sandy Slipper website, a Bahamian blog run by our good friend Fabian. The video for Talenthouse was directed by a talented young Bahamian director named Lavado Stubbs.

Watch the video and tell me you don’t want to swing your dreads through the air!

Let me know what you think about the song, does it make your cut to be added to your beach/reggae playlist?
