Making paradise even more luxurious and comfortable may be a difficult task, but the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort is up for the challenge with its four-month renovation now in the works.

The Grand Cayman resort expects the remodel project, which will focus on guest rooms, to continue until Nov. 3, 2013. During the enhancement process, the Cayman resort will stay open as usual, and renovations will be done floor by floor so as not to disturb vacationers.

The natural beauty of the outdoors will flow into every aspect of the completely refreshed guest rooms at the Cayman resort. Modern artwork and color schemes will envelope the island’s natural beach tones, while private balconies and patios will receive new, relaxing furniture. Each piece of upgraded indoor furniture will encompass a Grand Cayman beach house feel, and ultra-comfortable beds will feature crisper, more luxurious linens.

Corridors leading to the reimagined rooms will sport a cool, crisp color palette with plush carpet and new light fixtures as well as decorative art.

Guests of the Cayman resort currently enjoy 273 luxury guest rooms and 21 suites featuring flat-screen, high-definition televisions, high-speed Internet access (for an additional fee), coffeemakers, safes, mini-refrigerators and irons with ironing boards. Plush robes and slippers are always available for a higher level of pampering.

The onsite La Mer Spa also offers vacationers a way to decompress on their getaway with revitalizing treatments that include aroma and marine therapy, body scrubs and wraps, facials, foot baths, massages and manicures and pedicures.

This Seven Mile Beach resort offers travelers a multitude of dining and entertainment options. In addition to fun and delicious local restaurants, visitors can choose from four onsite restaurants.

To start an exciting day of adventure, guests can enjoy a lavish full buffet breakfast at the Red Parrot. For an elegant evening of gourmet cuisine and oceanfront dining, Solana on Seven Mile Beach provides guests the ultimate dining experience and finest international dishes. Balboa’s Lounge offers guests an elegant place to unwind and relax while sipping on cocktails and snacking on tapas and other light menu options, and for vacationers who don’t want to stop having fun at the pool or beach just to eat, the Sol Bar features poolside and beachside service including barbeques and happy hour specials.

Located on the world-famous Seven Mile Beach, this Cayman hotel offers lodgers convenient access to innumerable adventures and activities. For nearly 30 years, stingrays have congregated in the shallow and protected waters of Grand Cayman’s North Sound. For this reason, Stingray City and Sand Bar is one of the most popular attractions on the island, offering vacationers the opportunity to take a guided tour and see the docile creatures up close. Another nature park and research facility is Boatswain’s Beach and Turtle Farm featuring Green Sea Turtles and other indigenous creatures as well as special swimming spots, restaurants and other activities. Other exploits on the island include shopping, Pedro St. James Castle, Cayman Island Safari Tours and Rum Point.
