After one sip, you’ll be sailing round the BVI.

As if we Castaways really need another reason to grab a bottle of rum and toast to the island life. But if you do need one, today is National Cocktails Day. Enough said.

To help you celebrate the day in your own home, check out the new Castaway Cocktails ebook. There’s 52 Caribbean drink recipes just screaming to be made and enjoyed.

In honor of National Cocktail Day (March 24), I thought it would be a good idea to imagine ourselves in the British Virgin Islands. Some of us just arrived to West End on the St. Thomas ferry while others flew into Beef Island. It doesn’t matter how we got there, let’s all jump in a fast boat and head to a beach bar.

First stop, the Rum Bar on Cooper Island for a Rum & Port Cobbler.

Last on our BVI island hopping day is Myett’s Beach Bar and Grill, located right on the sand of Cane Garden Bay on Tortola. Let’s bell-up to the bar and grab one of their badass Bushwackers.
