Stock Harbor 8 Piece Stainless Steel Bartender Set
To go along with the good rum we just mentioned, dad might want to look the part of a master mixologist with this bartender set. It has everything dad needs to mix up the best cocktails, plus it has a cool anchor engraved on the shaker.
As one of the main tools from the bar tool set, they added a large capacity 25 Ounce (750 ml) Martini Cocktail Shaker that allows making 2-3 drinks at a time. It is assembled by three sturdy and well fitted parts, helping to mix without leaks and serving through the incorporated top filter.
Set also includes:
- A handy 0.5 oz / 1 oz Double Jigger
- Multi-Function Waiter’s Friend Corkscrew
- Tight Fitting Hawthorne Strainer
- Heavy Duty Muddler
- Artisan and Beautiful Twisted Bar Spoon
- Ice Tongs and a charming Box perfect for gifting
Caribbean Clothing with HIHO
If your dad loves the Caribbean, being out on the water, and looking the part, then he’ll absolutely love HIHO.
It’s a mens and womens clothing brand based out of the British Virgin Islands and it’s one of my favorite island lifestyle brands.
HIHO, which stands for Hooked In & Hold On, is clothing that’s based on the tropical lifestyle and is influenced by the pristine environment and island life. They offer a wide selection of sun shirts like the one pictured above, as well as casual cool island t-shirts, and really nice linen button downs. The clothing is soft, designed to be functional, colorful and comfortable in a chic island way.
Both Crystal and I are big fans and have a ton of their stuff!
This will make a great Father’s Day gift idea. You can visit the HIHO online store here.
Dad’s Very Own Hammock
Doesn’t every dad need a hammock? Father’s Day is the perfect excuse to get him something he probably won’t buy on his own.
It’s made with durable Textilene material that is soft, breathable, comfortable, weatherproof and oil proof. The fabric is vinyl coated for easy clean up and dry quickly.
I like this type of material a lot better than the all rope hammocks because it is easier to get in and out of, and it doesn’t leave marks all over your body.
Framed Caribbean Push Pin Map
Visually marking off bucket-list destinations helps inspire a person to keep going. That’s why I love these push-pin maps. We have one and I stare at it all the time, thinking about the places we’ve been, and the places that are next.
If your dad loves to travel and explore new places, he will love this. You can get one here on Amazon. While this one is of the Caribbean, they have them for the entire world or specific areas.
Here’s what is included:
- Personalized for that extra special touch
- Ready to hang on your wall
- Elegant 2 inch black frame
- Size is 39.5 Inches Wide x 27.5 Inches High
- Includes 100 pins in a mixture of red, white and black
Sailing Made Easy
Has your dad always wanted to learn how to sail? There’s no better feeling than raising the sheets, turning off the motor, and letting the power of the wind propel you through the water.
To help get him started and inspired, get dad this book, Sailing Made Easy. It will teach him the basics so he’ll know what is what when he steps on a sail boat. There’s no substitute for actual sailing lessons, but this book will get him ready.

A Blue Chair Bay Father’s Day
Is dad a fan of Kenny Chesney and rum? Then undoubtedly he’s a fan of Blue Chair Bay Rum. So as a Father’s Day gift idea, you could play bartender and make him a Chillaxification cocktail, (which is pictured below with the recipe), or get him a couple bottles of Blue Chair Bay Rum. I promise, it will put a big smile on his face!
To help, Blue Chair Bay Rum is doing an $8 off mail-in rebate. Click the link here to see the details and get the coupon.
Chillaxification Drink Recipe
- 2 oz. Blue Chair Bay® Spiced Rum
- 4 oz. pineapple juice
- 1 oz. cream of coconut
- 1 oz. orange juice
- nutmeg, for garnish
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass over ice. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and a pineapple wedge. Sit back and enjoy the island lifestyle.
Is Dad a Yeti Man?
If your dad loves the outdoors then he’s probably a big fan of the Yeti brand. Their gear is top-notch and superior to just about everything else in the cooler category.
This is the Yeti cooler bag we have, it’s called the Hopper M30, and we absolutely love it. It has tons of storage and will keep things cold and ice from melting all day long, even if the bag is in the sun. It’s pretty freaking amazing.
You can grab one on Amazon here, or explore their awesome backpacks, totes, and hard-side coolers.
Conclusion
I hope you found some useful Father’s Day gift ideas for your island lifestyle loving dad. While I’m not a dad (I don’t think cats count), I know he will be happy with any of the items on this list.
Thank you, and Castaway Crystal and I would like to wish all the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day!
Cheers,
Ryan – RumShopRyan
