Caribbean Travel Resources
We loveeeeee, traveling to the Caribbean and exploring new things. Because we want to island hop all the time, we have found ways to travel more often for a lot less, sometimes even for free! We want to help you do the same thing, so we created a list of our favorite Caribbean travel hacks that will allow you to sink your toes into island sand that much more. These tips not only work for the Caribbean, but can be applied to travel in general. Crystal and I have had our eye on Ireland for a long time and are going to use the tips below to make that happen in a very affordable way. Many of the links below are affiliate links, which means that we’ll get a small commission if you click through the link and make a purchase. These small commissions help us stay afloat and bring you more Caribbean content! We recommend things we personally use or think is valuable!
Here are your travel hacks and tips to help you #JustGo more often!
Airfare
CheapOair
How far in advance, what site to use, what airline…so many variables. CheapOair helps you get some great deals and if you click the link below, you can get $50 off your flight. Just use that promo code. We hope that helps!
Cheap Airline Deals! Take up to $50 off with Promo Code AIR50 Book Now!
Skyscanner
This great website searches a lot of different airlines, including many of the budget carriers that larger sites miss. While we always start with CheapOair, we’ll also check this site too as a way to price compare.
Hopper
We love Hopper because it tells you the best time to book your flight for the lowest prices. Airfares go up and down all the time, this will show you the days and times for the best prices.
Accommodations
Trusted Housesitters
We love this one! If you love pets and want to stay in a destination for free, then you are going to love this too. Trusted Housesitters is a service that connects people who need pet sitting services to people looking to travel.
Booking.com
Booking probably has the widest selection of budget accommodation in the Caribbean (and the world). In our studies, they constantly found the cheapest rooms. You’ll find hotels, resorts, villas, homes, B&B’s, Airbnb style places and so much more.
Priceline
We love Priceline. It allows you to bid on hotels and save a lot more money than just by booking directly. When used in conjunction with the bidding site Better Bidding, you can substantially lower the cost of your hotels by as much as 60%.
